Imperial Warships crush Ork ships over Weiss !!
Siege lifted, reinforcements arrive.

A three ship task force with accompanying escorts engaged two Terror and two Kill Kroozers in deep space near the warp jump for Weiss.

Led by the Dictator class Cruiser, Doña Celeste, the captain of the ship never flinched from duty even after the Orks launched a fearsome volley of torpedoes at long range. Here's an excerpt from his log as shown to us by Imperial officers.

"We showed them our armored prows to protect ourselves from their batteries. I had earlier dispatched the Doña Aurora and Gold squadron to flank them. I calmly ordered my fighters to take out their torpedoes and fired a salvo of my own. After our ships passed each other, we immediately swung hard to starboard and began blasting away at their thinly armored rear. By this time the Doña Aurora had arrived from the rear with her escorts, they gutted one Kroozer while the Aurora's torpedoes took out the rest."

Of the Ork ships only one managed to disengage from the battle - a truly unknown occurrence. The shattering of the Ork forces has lifted the naval blockade on Weiss. Supplies and reinforcements are already being rushed in and have allowed Imperial commanders to plan an offensive to drive out the Ork invaders. We shall continue to provide coverage on this epic event.

Has the tide turned??

A Space Wolf task force, using local guides, was able to penetrate deep into the enemy lines and destroy the Ork munitions dump. Once more led by the Venerable Dreadnought, which the Orks have dupped "Da Doo Headed Dog", total suprise was attained.

In order to prevent reinforcements from interfering, Part of the Space Wolves group ambushed the arriving Ork troops which included one of the Looted Basilisks. Though it was dangerous to separate his forces, the Space Wolf commander gambled and won. Though the Space Wolves suffered 30% fatalities it was dubbed a success. This coupled with the success of the Imperial Navy in lifting the blockade has given momentum in the drive to rid the planet of greenskins.
