Faisal Bengali, 34

Head of Equity Sales & Trading
Mr. Faisal Bengali has been working with Aqeel Karim Dhedhi since 1994. As Head of Equity Sales & Trading, he is responsible for providing investment advice and recommendations to institutional fund managers and high net worth clients.
He has close working relationship with reputable foreign institutional clients including Merill Lynch, Credit Lyonnais Securities Asia, Crosby Securities, Klienwort Benson, Morgan Stanley Asset Management, National Investment Trust and Investment Corporation of Pakistan.

He has also held the position of Senior Investment Analyst at AKD Securities in 1995 and was responsible for carrying out company analysis and preparing research reports on Synthetic Fibres, Textiles, Automobiles and Sugar & Allied Products sectors.

Prior to joining AKD Securities, Mr. Bengali worked for Bengal Fibre Industries Limited as a Plant Engineer from 1991 to 1994. There he was responsible for conducting research into feasibility, design, operation and performance of electrical machinery and components; preparation of material cost estimates, reports and design specifications for electrical equipment and supervision of technicians, technologists, programmers, analysts and engineers.

Mr. Bengali holds a Masters in Business Administration from Rice University, Houston, Texas, USA and Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Northwestern University.

Altaf Kadwani, 30

Intitutional Sales & Trading
Mr. Altaf joined AKD securities in 1998 and is responsible for institutional equity sales and trading. He brings with him 8 years of experience of equity sales and trading. Prior to joining AKD Securities, Mr. Altaf was with Amin Essa Tai, a member of Karachi Stock Exchange, as an equity trader.
Tariq Adam, 32

Market Operations
Tariq Adam is responsible for monitoring and supervising the operations at AKD Securities. He computerized brokerage house system based on Oracle with Unix Operating System. He is also responsible for order execution, reporting of trades to respective clients, settlement of trades reported to foreign and local institutional clients and individuals. Mr. Adam's other responsibilities include market settlement operations, account position of clients and members, clients' and company's portfolio stock inventory. Until June 30, 1995, he was working at Bear Stearns Jahangir Siddiqui as Manager Customer Services. He also held the posts of Assistant Manager Operations, Computer Officer and Assistant Accountant at BSJS.

Mohammad Iqbal A. Karim, 50
Finance & Accounts
Iqbal Karim was, until January 1995, responsible for managing the equity investments of the Prudential Group of Companies where he was instrumental in turning around the performance of the Prudential Stock Fund. Prior to this, he spent 17 years in commercial banking in Pakistan and in the Middle East. Iqbal Karim brings with him an extensive network of high net worth individuals in Pakistan as well as in the Middle East.
Haji Ilyas Ahmed, 53

Company Secretary
Mr. Ahmed brings with him over 30 years of accountancy and company secretarial practices experience. Prior to joining AKD Securities, he was working with Haroon Askari, member Karachi Stock Exchange, as a Manager cum Accountant. Mr. Ahmed has held managerial positions in the accounts department of prestigious organizations including Oasis Corporation, Central Insurance, Halim Group, Shahnawaz Ltd. and Standard Insurance and was responsible for preparation of annual financial statements and maintaining accounting records. Mr. Ilyas Ahmed has done Bachelors in Commerce from University of Karachi.

Imran Karim, 33

Credit Management
Mr. Imran Karim is responsible for supervision of client settlement operations, which involves reporting / settlement of trades executed on behalf of individual, local and foreign institutional clients; supervision of backup office operations and maintaining clients' accounts records. Until 1995, he was with Bear Stearns Jahangir Siddiqui Limited as an Assistant Manager Settlement. He also trained the Management Trainee / Internees of ICMA / IBA hired by the Capital Market Operations Department of the Company. Prior to this, Mr. Imran assisted in setting up the Prudential Stock Fund Limited with the General Manager. He designed and supervised the Operating System of the Company from execution of trades to the settlement.

Mohammad Dada,

TFC Sales & Trading
Mr. Dada started his career as an officer at Foreign Trade and Operations Department of Metropolitan Bank Limited in 1994. Subsequently, he joined BMA Capital Management as a Fixed Income Securities Trader and was promoted to Senior Analyst in the Money Market. He was responsible for forecasting the money market and interest rates trends, advising clients (foreign & local commercial banks), negotiating rates at which interbank deals were executed, structured repo and reverse repo transactions between financial institutions involving Federal Investment Bonds, Short Term Federal Bonds, Treasury Bills and Term Finance Certificates. Mr. Dada holds Masters in Business Administration (Finance) and Bachelor of Science (Marketing) from Southeastern University, Karachi Campus.
