Mandy reaches out and presses the button before Rob can do anything and the time device neatly slices open the fabric of reality and slips over the two like a blanket. On the other side, they immediately begin gasping and clutching at their throats as the prehistoric air is too full of nitrogen to breathe. The time device falls to the ground next to them. They both sink to their knees. The sky is filled with meteors. The ground is a roiling mess of lava as the earth is catastrophically formed and reformed every second. Rob, with one hand still clutching his throat, reaches out and presses the button.
The time device transports them back. They lie in grass catching their breath. They sit up and look at each other.
Rob: Prehistoric earth. Very bad place.
Mandy: Sorry about that.
Rob: Yeeeeah. Uh, no worries.
Mandy: Not sure. The LCD panels are broken. Anything is better than that though. I mean, did that freak really just try to kill us??
Rob: Survey says, "Yes".
Mandy: That guy�s a total jerk.
