1 Rob begins thumbing the controls on the timebox while keeping low and moving behind the soldiers’ line, Mandy behind him.
Mandy: Hurry up, Rob!
Inset : The LCD screen; Rob’s thumbing the controls. You see the year 1963, Martin Luther King is giving his speech on the steps of the Memorial.
Rob (op): I’m almost there!
2 An explosion off to the side! Rob and Mandy are thrown forward.
3 Rob lies on the floor, Mandy next to him, her eyes closed. His arm is stretched out in front of him, working the timebox. Rob’s face is caked in mud and turned up toward the box. He’s determined to get it to work.
Mandy: Ughhhh...
4 Same. Rob reaches out and grabs Mandy’s wrist.
Rob: Hold on, Mandy, here we go...
5 Same. A British soldier grabs the back of Rob’s shirt.
Soldier: Ya betta’ move, kid!
6 Same. All three individuals teleport away with a flash of light.
