1 In the library, the three travelers rematerialize, all of them in the same position they were just in. We don’t see the whole library, just some shelves
2 Tight on the soldier. His mouth agape as he stares at something ahead of him.
Rob (OP): Uh...Mandy? You might want to get up and explain this one.
3 Mandy is stirring as she weakly lifts herself off of the floor.
Mandy: Are we home...
4 Mandy’s face parallels the soldier’s.
Mandy (small): ...yet?
5 From behind our three heroes. Rob on the left, Mandy on the right, the soldier between them. Mandy is motioning towards the soldier. Wide shot of the library. It looks just like the library from the beginning of the book except for a couple of little things. Or big things…like the giant swastika banners that are draped off of the balcony. Or the completely vanilla congregation gathered in the library.
Rob: So... um... what do you think we should do?
Soldier: Drink and wait for death.
Rob: Mandy?
Mandy: I’m with him.
