PANEL 1
ROB makes the blind jump. The kids are surrounded by a halo of inter-dimensional energy as the time device kicks in, and the cop from the previous segment is thrown backwards by the force of the cosmic transfer.
SOUND EFFECT Thzaaaaapt!
PANEL 2
Close-up on ROB and MANDY as they materialize in another time. ROB holds the time device between them, which smokes from the recent jump. MANDY�S face is filled with a kind of fascinated awe, while ROB wrinkles his nose with distaste. In the background we can see vague figures sitting on some kind of rough wooden grandstand.
MANDY Where are we?
ROB I don�t know, but it smells really bad!
PANEL 3
Wide shot of MANDY and ROB standing in the midst of a jousting tournament some time in the Middle Ages. Behind them, we see a motley assortment of peasants and nobles seated in the grandstand, cheering as loudly as any European soccer fan.
On either side of the frame are knights mounted on horseback, preparing to joist, their sharp lances pointed at each other. Since ROB and MANDY are between them, the lances are actually pointed at them.
MANDY I think we�re in medieval Europe. Those guys are knights.
PANEL 4
The view is behind one of the knights as he spurs his horse down the course. His lance in pointed at the kids, who are now huddled in the mud, trying to get the time device to work.
Off in the background, we can see the other knight doing the same.
MANDY They�re going to skewer us! We have to get out of here.
ROB I�m trying!
