PANEL 2
We now cut to 1917 France. The kids are standing in the middle of a barren field that resembles the surface of the moon. There are no plants, animals, or signs of anything alive. Off in the lower right of the panel we see one single ragged strand of barbed wire.
SOUND EFFECT Thwaaaapt!

Medium shot of the kids. Both look confused.
ROB I thought that 1917 sounded like a safe year.
MANDY Are you sure you got it right? This looks like there was a nuclear war, or something.
