| "When a man's ways please the LORD, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him. Better is a little with righteousness, than great revenues without right. A man's heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps." Proverbs 16:7-9 Have you had longings and nudges from the Lord last year which you did not translate into action? Did you make decisions without consulting Him and then blamed Him when things went wrong? Have you said, "I trust You Lord" and then not turned your affairs over to Him? Were you greedy with present delights and pleasures, unwilling to wait for those joys which time and discipline alone can give? Did you seek the easy was last year and consistently draw back from the road that is hard? Were you fond of giving yourself up to dreams of which you were going yo do "sometime," yet were so slow in getting started with them? Have you asked forgiveness for all the intentions that were born and somehow never lived? Do you now claim His promise to change you? To do for you what you cannot do for yourselves? Let us allow the Lord to lead us in this New Year with a new Spirit, a cleansed heart, and an abundance of love. Allow God to create within you new attitudes and new ideas, as only He can do. May this New Year bring more Faith, Hope, Joy, Peace & Love your way as you allow God to be your focus for your life. Love in Christ Jesus, Sandy Happy New Year All! |
