| "To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born and a time to die. . . " Ecclesiastes 3:1-2 A motivational plaque declares, "Yesterday is but a dream; tomorrow is a vision of hope; look to this day for it is life." This saying can be used to express the urgency of our lives as Christians. If yesterday were Christmas, today Easter, and tomorrow was Christ's second coming and the end of time as we know it, would we be living differently? We always feel that there will be time. We do not feel the urgency to share the Gospel today! Would it make a difference if we knew that Christ was coming tomorrow? Who do you know who needs to hear of Christ's birth, death, resurrection, and second coming? Christianity is impacted in a most negative way by Christians who feel there is no hurry. Application: Live today as if it were your last day on earth, the end of time to share the Good News of Jesus and your faith and love for and in Him. "There is no hurry" is far from truth ~ actually it's something the devil puts in our minds~ A negative perfect slogan to defeat Christianity! We don't have time to "wait" Christians, for Jesus is coming soon! May God bless you with a wonderful day as you serve Him in witnessing to others and MAKE USE OF TODAY! Love in Christ Jesus, Sandy |
