Nuanar-what?  Nuanarpuuq....or Nuanaarpok...or--well, you get the idea--anyway its spelled, its an Inuit term mening "taking extravagant pleasure in being alive". Its a word we have no English equivelent for...and it is my personal philosophy about how to live...
I graduated from high school in 1998 and went to college, expecting to embark on a career in biology.  Somewhere along the way, I enlisted in the United States Navy, was stationed in Virginia aboard the USS Bataan and got deployed to Iraq.  Underway I met the one of the greatest guys (though not without his flaws) ever, and was lucky enough that he liked me too...
My husband and I were married in November 2004.  We are currently expecting our first child in March.  We are both active duty Navy and practicing Pagans.  I am a hospital corpsman stationed in Virginia, and my husband is a hull technician getting ready to transfer to Guam (I should be following shortly after the baby is born).
We love the beach, camping, hiking, swimming, canoeing, playing tourist, reading and watching movies.  Both of us are avidly addicted to the outdoors, to the Discovery and History Channels, and to the internet.  Most importantly, we love being with each other, though due to the "needs of the Navy", that isn't always possible...
