-Ch 3-
"Hey Kurama, what happened to your hand?" Yusuke asked.
I lifted up my hand. It had bandages on it from last night.
"It's just a scratch I had last night." I answered. There it goes agian. Another lie. I swear I must have made 5 billion lies my whole life. Every word that came out of my mouth was a lie.
"Listen up!" Koenma walked in the room. Yusuke sweatdropped.
"Now I called all of you here for...where's Hiei?!" Koenm paniced.
"He said that he'd rather wait outside and for us to tell him what the mission is." I answered.
Koenma sighed in relief. "Good. Anyways, as I was saying I called all of you here for a new mission. You must go to Makai to find a deadly weapon."
"I know. Hiei told me." I told Koenma.
"Hiei told you? How did he know? AH! HAS HE GONE THROUGH MY
PAPER WORK AGAIN!!???" Koemna shouted in anger.
"Now WHY would Hiei WANT to go through YOUR paper work?!" shouted Yusuke.
"Calm down Koenma-samma!" Botan tried to calm him down. I sweatdropped.
"Um...Maybe some one told him in advanced?" I asked.
"I think he overheard me telling Yusuke." Botan-Chan admitted.
"I was talking to Yusuke and I told him about the mission ahead of time so he would at least think of a plan. After I told him we heard a swish sound in the tree above us. So maybe Hiei just heard us."
"ANYWAYS! There is a portal deep in the Human World. It leads to any deminshions, galaxies or worlds. This would take a better time instead of Botan leading us there. So we must go tommorow morning. This weapon is called the Dark Emerald. It is a Emerald Crystal that contains strong youkai power of water and ice. The legend says that the holder was in Makai and since it was causing chaos to the holder, she threw it out and hid it in Makai until she learned how to use it. If the person does not know how to use this it will cause chaos and destruction to Makai. If that happened, it would go through the Ningenkai and into the Reikai."
"So after we ind the crystal..we will come back to the Ningenkai and find the holder." Botan finished.
Oh no. This would mean me to cause more lies. What should I do!? I can't even live to tell one more lie to anyone. I stood up and walked out.
"Kurama! Where are you going?" Kuwahara asked.
I turned around to face him.
"I have my own mission to do." I answered. Then I ran home.
I opened the door. No one was home. Good. I grabbed my backpack and slit it on. I shoved my
jacket in my back pack. I walked to the kitchen to grab a pen and a pad. I slowly wrote on the note pad.
'Mother. I have to tell you something. I love you and I know you love me. But it just seems that I can't get anywhere in this world. Everything that I have said to everyone was a lie. Let's just say that it will just bring them to danger if I always told the truth. No, I am not in trouble at my school, part of a gang or anything else. I just rather not tell you yet. I will tell you some day when I feel like it. But that won't be that easy. I am running away. I am running to a place no human has gone before. Everyone that hated me told me to go back to where I came from. And now I am. Goodbye, Mother. I love you. Your one and only son, Shuichi.'
I placed the pad on the coffee table. I slit my backpack on and headed to the door.
I took one last look at my human house. This will be the last time I ever saw this house. I ran upstairs and grabbed a picture of my mother, so I would never forget her face. I soon then headed to the door agian. I took one last look at my living room. I sighed a sad sigh and headed out the door.
I ran toward the portal Koenma talked about. I was the only one who knew where it was. A thousand years living in Makai was about to come back to me. Oh great. I saw the ally of gang signs and grafiti.
You had to pass this skanky place to get to the portal. Only humans with spiritual abilities can see it.
Slam! I bumped into a huge muscular guy with a bunch of tatoos. The only thing he wore was black leather.
"Hey you bastard! Watch where you are going!!" he shouted at me in anger. But I didn't look backi I just ran as fast as I could. Then I heard him shout agian. "Go back to where ever you came from!"
I could feel tears dripping from my eyes and down my face. But I ran and ran more. I finally made it. To the portal. I jumped inside it. I typed uin the code to Makai. Then I was gone. Away from the Ningenkai.
Never be able to see or hear from me at that place agian.
