One of the
options you have in finding a fanfic is to search by category. Read their
definitions below to know where your fanfic should lie in, or what type of
fanfic you're searching for. Some fanfics may have one or more categories;
if that's the case, it will be added in all that it should be under.
1.
Spin-offs : spoofs and stories patterned after children's stories, movies,
books, TV shows, etc.
2. Parodies
: comedy fics, omake fics, and anything else that'll make you run for the
bathroom in giggling fits.
3. From the
Heart : romantic and / or sweet stories that make you cry, melt in a
swooning puddle on the floor, smile at their profoundity, ponder upon the
complexities of life, or all of the above.
4.
Conflicts : action, adventure and complex plots that leave you guessing.
Stephen King, John Grisham, Michael Crichton; eat your heart out!
5.
Songfiction : stories that revolves around a song, written like a music
video. Also called a video file.
6.
Crossovers : Yuu Yuu Hakusho x other anime / non-anime series
7. Poems :
for the intellectuals
8. Evil
fiction : stories of unspeakable evil, angst, and insane depression.
"He's dead, Jim!"
9. 13 and
Up : adult romance. Not for the little uns. `Nuff said.
10. Essays
: explanations, analyses of YYH - related topics. Are you for or against
yaoi? Is YYH really a violent series? Read them here.
11. Other
fiction : stories that have no relation at all to Yuu Yuu Hakusho. Fanfics
here will be sorted by their series.
