Web Master Hi there I'm Felicity from Aberdeen and I am very pleased to be associated with Hexycult run by Isaac. At the moment, I'm at a St Margaret's School in Scotland and one of my aims is to link together schools of the same name from all over the world through www.megzweb.com. After university, I am thinking of becoming a neuropsychologist mixed up with business and computing studies. To neuropsychologists, music and movement are very important and I believe that in the future it will play a much greater part in our lives as a way of improving things like IQ's. Therefore, I find Hexycult very interesting in the musical dance sense. I have completed the bronze, silver, and gold Duke of Edinburgh's Awards like Isaac and all the sections have been enjoyable. In particular, the open gold hikes I took part in in Wales and Yorkshire where I joined up with a group of people who I've never met before. I would recommend open awards to anyone (however, make sure you clear everything with your operating authority first). For my service sections, I have been looking after an autistic child and have found it extremely rewarding and I still continue to help the family. Sandy Miller - Europe-wide Coordinator: Hullo Hullo Hullo! Hope you're enjoying the website. I'm currently a 2nd year student at St. Andrews Uni, Scotland studying French, Modern History and IT. I met Isaac last summer at the Millennium Multi-Arts Festival held at Stirling University, organised by Scottish Youth Dance and the Duke of Edinburgh's Award. The aspects included African drumming and dance, musical composition and break dancing. The week-long festival came to a climax in a vibrant variety performance within Stirling. As a volunteer, I gained a valuable insight into the festival's organisation. Next year, as part of my degree, I'm hoping to teach English as an assistant in France. As a musical enthusiast, I would very much like to research the local culture, especially looking into the strong Celtic links between Scotland and France. Being involved in this website will give me the chance to further my awareness of different cultures and sharing my experiences with as many people as possible. This website came about simply by meeting up with different people brought together through the common experience of music and dance. Give it a go! You never know what could happen... Looking forward to chatting or emailing with you! toodlepip
