  2. SITE OF ADMINISTRATION: deltoid (arm) in adults; thigh in children. 

  3. SEROCONVERSION RATE OF VACCINE ( effective antibodies production.) > 97%.

  4. NO MAJOR SIDE EFFECTS.

  5. PROTECTION IS LIFE LONG.

  6. POST EXPOSURE PROTECTION : possible with in  48 hours. ( vaccination of a person with in 48 hours of coming in contact with a known case of hepatitis A can prevent infection).
