The Henderson Rangers are one of the founding clubs of the New Zealand American Football Association and have performed to a consistantly high standard throughout the 20 years of our exisitance, appearing in 6 Kiwi Bowl finals (the New Zealand version of the Super Bowl) of which we have won 4.
Being one of the oldest clubs within New Zealand, the Henderson Rangers have a rich history behind them based upon the uncompromising way in which the first Rangers played the game. This history involves playing with pride for the team and never giving up, no matter what circumstances the team finds itself faced with.
Since the Rangers inception, the team colours have been linked to the American flag - red, white, and blue. While different combinations of these colours have been used the one constant has been that of the red helmet. It is this long history that provides the Rangers with that little something extra compared to other clubs and as the veteran players say - "Once a Ranger, always a Ranger".
