Dan Langshaw visited various lawmakers down in Columbus, OH. He personally met with State Senator Spada and State Senator John Boccieri regarding the Help Ohio Vets Bill Proposal for the creation of a "State of Ohio GI Bill" or "State of Ohio Armed Forces Scholarship". Thus far nothing new to report except that two possible funding sources have been found that would pay millions of dollars for the bill. One of the great possible sources would be the use of "inside" millage that goes to each of the 88 county veteran service commissions in Ohio and using the money for Veterans and instead of having it misused for pet projects by the county governments. By correcting the misuse of inside millage it would help pay at least $10 million dollars toward any educational porgram for veterans that we are proposing. In addition several Freedom of Information Act Request have been filed to investigate this matter. Hopefully in Jan. 2008 a member of the Ohio General Assembly will introduce our Bill
.
