| 1. Will you post weekly pictures of your progress as you begin to lose weight? Not weekly pictures. This surgery isn't meant to be as quick as the other weight loss surgeries, so there won't be a tellable difference in size each week. However, I will be posting pictures at increments, such as each fifteen or 25 pounds lost. 2. You say you eat alot... how much do you actually eat? More than most people. 3. Why do you eat so much? Is it hard to control your appetite? Quite simply, because I'm hungry. Yes, it takes longer and more food for me to feel satiated than most people. 4. Have you always been heavy? Yes, I have, pretty much my whole life. I can remember for sure since at least the third grade. So, that would be about sixteen or so years at least. 5. Did your doctor suggest the lapband to you? No, I do not have a doctor,nor insurance, can't afford it. I think I read about it online, or saw it on Discovery health or a news channel of some sort. 6. Do you know anyone that has lost weight from it? I do not know anyone personally, however, I am a member of several groups for Bandsters (what people who have this surgery are called). There are lots of people on these groups that have been successful. Also, Sharon Osbourne (Ozzy's wife) and Ann Wilson (from the 80s group Heart) are two famous people I know have gotten this done. 7. Is it guaranteed? For me, yes. I am willing to follow the rules of banding. i.e. don't drink with meals, eat protein first, don't eat high cal mushy foods, etc. So, yes, for me it's guaranteed. It is only a tool, it will not do the work for you, which is why it might not work for a lot of people. However, I realize that it is only a tool and am willing to make whatever lifestyle changes necessary for me to work with this tool. 8. Can you take more pictures of yourself to show your progression to the weight you are now? I'm not quite sure I understand your question. I can't take pictures of things in the past?
