Dear Dolly,

Hi!  Kumusta ka na?  I hope that youre always okay there.  Christmas is almost here, isnt it?  We will have a Christmas party at school tomorrow.  Then its Christmas vacation.  We had our YMC Christmas Party today.  We will start caroling tomorrow.  It is such fun to go caroling.  We get to go to different places and I enjoy the company of the YMC members.

Our Field Day was done.  We didnt have a Passing Review (PASAMID) because we run out of funds.  I wont be able to send you a picture of me in my fatigue uniform.  But Lina had pictures during their presentation.

My classmates and I went to Diliman on December 12.  We took the Entrance Examination at U.P.  I didnt realize how far that place is.  I probably wont go to school there.  I just tried to take a test.  One more thing, I didnt get a scholarship there.  I also took application forms from PLM and NSDB.  The entrance examinations wont be until February.  Id rather take applications from different schools so that I have lots of options.  Until now, I am not sure what school I want to go to.  But I am sure what course I want to take, Commerce.  Probably, before the next school year, I would have picked a school already.  I am planning to take a vocational course this summer vacation.  I had been planning to take typing since last year.  I hope its okay with you.

Im glad that Baby is back there with you.  At least you wont feel lonely anymore.  And dont worry about us too much.  I dont want you to get sick again.  Im really sorry that we are unable to write you that often.  Its just that we have many activities at school.  And there are times, that although we already have a letter for you, we dont have time to go to the post office because of our tight schedule at school.  We only have a few vacant periods.  So dont worry about us anymore.  About the money that you are sending us, we always receive them.  Sometimes we just forget to mention it to you.  The exchange rate now is a little over P8.00.  I had to send the pants that you sent me to a sastre for a general repair.  They were too big for me.

O sige ma, take care.  We love you.

Love,
Irene
