| June 29, 1981 Dear Dolly, Hi! Kumusta ka na? Hope youre feeling fine and everythings going smooth. Classes wont start until next week, on July 6. They have been postponed. We are already enrolled, last week pa. It doesnt rain that much anymore. You know what, we will now have all our subjects every day. I think that it will be the new system for all public schools here in Manila. So instead of one hour for each subject, it will now be only 40 minutes each. The subjects that we usually have every day, like H.E. and YDT will now be two periods every day. We received the $30.00 and the tape. Weve already heard your voice tape. We have also sent you our measurements. We went to the post office on Friday to get your registered letter. I asked Auntie Minerva to get it for me. The letter was from Banahaw Finance Corporation. It was about your loan that has a balance of P1,590.00. The letter states that if you dont settle your account with them within 7 days, the company will bring the case to the court. We are quite worried here. Someone might come here one day and look for you. I am attaching a copy of the letter. Love, Irene |
