| March 8, 1981 Hello Dolly, Hi! How are you? A very happy birthday to you. Did you receive the card that we sent you? Hope so. I hope that you will at least be happy on your birthday. Pasensiya ka na. We dont have any gift to offer you. We can only send you our warmest greetings. We just had our post tests on Thursday and Friday, March 5 and 6. All the public schools in Manila had to take the post tests. We are quite worried about the results of the tests. Our teachers told us that it will make a huge percentage of our final grades. The tests were just okay, I didnt find them hard. Kayang-kaya kong ipasa iyon. (Yabang no?) Well, you know me. We still have final examinations on March 12 and 13. Aside from school projects, we are also busy reviewing for the exams. Anyway, after that, well finally have our school vacation. Estrella still writes to me up to this day. My other former classmates have also written to me. They are very nice and kind. They havent forgotten me. They said that they miss me, and that I should go visit them one day. How was your Valentines Day? We had a party at school. We danced and ate. The party ended late but we had a really good time. Last Sunday, Lina and I watched a movie, Mga Basang Sisiw. We saw Janice de Belen, Cheche, and Sheryl in person. Julie Vega wasnt there though. I liked the story, kinda like our life. The kids father died. The children then searched for their mother who had amnesia. They all got back together in the end. It was a tear-jerking ending. I think that when you, Lina and I get back together again, we wont be able to control our tears. Okay, til next time. Bye. Irene |
