I have been playing a music video from the Sticky Kids for some years and the children really enjoy it, singing and dancing and going through the movements to all the actions songs.

I took a CD, along with a CD player, to my local childminding group. I work with a group of other Childminders under “ABC Renfrew Registered Childminders” banner and we meet up twice a week at the Old Parish Church Hall, Renfrew.  These weekly gatherings help the children mix socially and we finish each meeting with a music session. On this occassion I turned the Sticky Kids' music on and away we went - 9 childminders watching 26 children under the age of 4, to see the look on their faces... the shock. Our gentle weekly song session turned into chaotic fun - we march around the room to a song called 'Ready Steady go' and the children scream with delight when they hear 'Can You Run as Fast as Me'... and many more.

After about 5 - 6 songs the childminders were exhausted. We had carried out the exercises with such enthusiasm, and we had all been laughing so much.

The CD was great with the songs encouraged a range of physical skills which were perfect for the Early Leaning Goals with focus on Movement, Sense of space, Health and body awareness, as well as Creatively, it helped all move with the music.  The CD also contains the instructions, and you are told what actions to do with the songs, and it gives you ideas on how to expand the children's learning. Just choose the songs you need.

I contacted Anne some time ago and this led to a discussion on a possible venue in Renfrew which, I am happy to say, did take place, and everyone really enjoyed the show.

As childminders, we celebrate various festivals, and organise outings, such the day on the 31st March 09, when ABC Renfrew Registered Childminders went along to see The Sticky Kids Show.

The show:This musical show for young children aged 2-6 years, was action packed, and gets everyone involved, it has lots of lively action songs. Molly and Mac were great and the children were captivated. It was wonderful to see the children singing and dancing along to some of their favourite songs such as: Wind your bobbin up, Wash your dirty face, Five Fat Sausages, and The Sticky kids song. The children were laughing and listening to everything, and there were many opportunities to be part of the fun - all things that young Sticky Kids love. Watch out for flying sausages and if your little ones enjoy things live and exciting this is the show for them.

If you do not know much about the Sticky Kids it a show that is based around Molly Muddle, the central character in the Molly Muddle picture books. The songs are taken from the hugely popular Sticky Kids range of children's music.
