Predictions	Choverá em São Paulo depois de amanhã.	It will rain in São Paulo the day after tomorrow.
Forceful orders, instead of the imperativos	Não matarás.	Thou shall not kill.
Clauses expressing what you will do if / in case things happen	Ficarei aqui caso ele chegue atrasado.	I'll stay here in case he arrives late.
Doubt and uncertainty	Será que ele já chegou?	Do you think he's already arrived?

Actions that will have happened by the time something else does.	Ele já terá voltado da exposição quando o senhor Martins ligar.	He will have already come back from the exhibition when Mr. Martins calls.
