My Story...
I graduated from Fredericton High School in 1999. I met my boyfriend (Marc) that year! :) We met on May 29th 1999 and started dating 3 days later on June 1st! We had the best times together, and after a bumpy summer we got things between us worked out perfectly! That September I started at CompuCollege. Marc didnt know what he wanted to do, so he worked at Wendy's that year until he could decide.
In March of 2000 we found out I was pregnant! After the inital shock had worn off and we had had time to decide what we wanted to do, we got ready to add a new member to our lives! I continued with my schooling, and Marc made plans to go to school the following session.
In July I made an emergency trip to the hospital, they said a "polip" inside of me twisted and burst, it was a horrible experience, but we got something good out of it! We found out we were having a BOY. Having had names picked out before we knew we were pregnant, we were very exicted!
My mother had all of her family down to our house for Thanksgiving dinner, the night before, we all went over to set everything up for the big dinner, everything was ready to go, all we needed were the people! We all went home to get some sleep, but somebody decided I wasn't going to be getting any sleep that night! At 1:30 am(Oct. 8th) my contractions started, I woke Marc up(he'd spent the night) and he helped me through them until 4 am when they were 4 minutes apart and we went to the hospital. Trey Christoher Riley Stewart was born October 8th at 12:35 pm!! A beautiful baby boy, perfectly healthy in most respects, weighing 6 pounds 13 ounces!
He had been stubborn, and we had to vaccum him out, I guess he changed his mind about coming! But what we didn't know at the time was that the doctor had been a little bit too rough with him, and broken his clavical bone! Because of this he wouldn't breast feed, it was too much work and it hurt. Once we realized this he was a much happier baby, we started being more careful when we held him and so on! After that healed, he was a perfectly happy, healthy, baby boy!
Trey will turn six in October.... Things didn't turn out exactly as I had pictured them. In April of 2002 (Trey was 18 months old) Marc left. He never came back. I stay in contact with his parents, as they come see trey, they say he joined the army, and he was stationed in Manitoba (far away). He's just recently moved back into town with his new g/f and their daughter.
But life goes on for us, i'm looking for work, and taking care of Trey. I'm living with my parents, which (as much as i hate it) is the best thing right now. For now my world consists of Trey, tv, computers, the gym, sleep and friends.
