Invention Convention
It’s time for the annual “Invention Convention”. Together with your team, you will design and construct a machine that you will invent!
After researching simple and compound machines on the internet to gather your data, design and construct a new machine that includes at least two simple machines.
1. Visit the webpages and view the presentations listed in the resources section to gather information about simple machines.
2. Conduct at least 3 experiments found on these pages in order to gain a better understanding of how these machines change force.
3. Compare the different simple machines using a graphic organizer
4. Correctly identify various simple machines, and sort them according to type.
5. Synthesize the information you have gathered and design a compound machine utilizing at least 2 types of simple machines.

Congratulations!!! Now, go show someone your invention! Be sure to explain to them how the simple machines work together!
