Malnutrition is still a major health problem in the Philippines. San Juan Municipality has its own share of this problem. Helping us address this problem, the Rotary Clubs of San Juan zone and neighboring cities and Rotary International have greatly helped keep the problem to the minimum. |

Feeding projects are just stop gap strategy that we are implementing. But with the economic hardships we are experiencing, we do not have an alternative in sight. Presently we have Vitamin A Plus project which aims to give Nutrition Education to mothers especially mothers of malnourished children. We also have our Feeding program with different Rotary International Clubs in partnership with our local Clubs dubbed as Oplan Weight Increase. Thanks Rotary for helping our malnourished children. |
