FACILITIES IN UKM

WiFi Zone

WiFi connection is available at all levels of the library and to the nearby area surrounding it.. The usage is free and unlimited.

Discussion Rooms

These facilities are located at level 3. Except for the discussion rooms, usage of carrels will be charged at the rate of RM10.00 per month. Deposit of RM5.00 is required and this is refundable. Request for the use of carrels can be made at the General Office of the Customer Service Division at Level 4 of the Main Library during office hours. Request for the discussion room is available at the Popular Journal Unit, level 3.

THEATHER ROOM

There are 6 theatre rooms available at Media Collections Department. Users can utilise these rooms for their Audio Visual needs by making a reservation at the department's Service Counters.

CARRELS

These facilities are located at level 3. Except for the discussion rooms, usage of carrels will be charged at the rate of RM10.00 per month. Deposit of RM5.00 is required and this is refundable. LOCKER

800 lockers are available for rent at the rate of RM3.00 per month. Deposit of RM5.00 is required and this is refundable. Rentals can be made at the General Office of the Customer Service Division at level 4 of the Main Library during office hours.

SELF CHECKOUT MACHINE

The library provides 3 self checkout machines for the clients to borrow the books by themselves.

BOOK RETURNING MACHINE

Library clients are allowed to return books through the Book Returning Machine which is situated at level 4 (near the Customer Service Counter) and at level 3 (outside the library infront of the car parking area). T he book returning machine at level 3 is opened 24 hours.

PHOTOCOPYING SERVICE

The service is privatized and located at level3, 4 and 5. Photocopying cards are available at level 3 and 5.
