When I first began my mission to learn all that I could about Joseph Merrick, I was a lost soul wandering in the dark, without any idea where to proceed beyond my local library. Internet search engines seemed to either turn up only a tiny fraction of what is available - as little as three or four sites, though they may be very good - or such an enormous amount of information as to be overwhelming, and not always entirely helpful. I've also stumbled across different artistic interpretations of Josephs story and wondered how it was I had never heard of them before as I'm always on the look out for anything having to do with Joseph.
