Over the phone she tells me that shes on her way to meet the friend who will get us in free to see Star Wars: Episode II: Attack of th Clones! WoooHHoooooo!
To my tipsy amazment an hour and a half later there I am watching Skywalker senior using the force. A midnight start.
Film is fantastic especailly if you ignore all the corny love story aspects of it all. Thrilling to see Obi Wan go off on a mission all of his own, kicks arse ... almost literally! Keep you eyes peeped for what I call the 'leather basque scene', but just ignore the cheesy lines. Amidala's leather piece is to die for! (figure of speech). And speaking of figures the kid's have grown up into fine young specimens (I'm sure they won't mind me mentioning,. ggl). OH MY haven't Anakin and Padme grown up into a voluptious pair?
If you haven't already seen it then watch out for the Lightsaber welding ET Jedi, CP30's head jokes and le piece de resistance, Yoda the mad flying squirrel impersonator. And when you do feel in no way inclined to supress your whooping & yelping instinct. We didn't and neither did anyone else in there that night, made the viewing that much more fun!
