Actually, I was about to close this page and stop writing my diary! yes, it's ture. I felt that I was talkin to myself and I was hearing a voice saying "Ohh Shut Up !! No body will read this trash !!" You might say that the guy is driven cazy, but this is what happens when somebody kicks you away, alone, no friends, no relatives, thousands of miles from your home! Even the Somalis here don't speak arabic! The finish people are not friendly at all as I was told. Students sent from other countries are already sent in groups of 5 and 6 and more. who is the idiot that will come here alone !? All that pressure of loneless was about to kill me. Until today, after two days holiday, that really feels like two years!, I told myself, that if I didn't found more than 3 mails in my account. I will shut the hell of this page down, and quit writing my diaries. But guess what, I found two 1st time replys in my guest book and about ten letters in my msn account, and this really ROCKS !! So, here I am again, better than ever, and ready to kick some a** !! First of all, for the previous update, some body told me that it was full of stupid spelling mistakes, the reason is that the computer was bidan, and I needed to wait 2 seconds for each character I type, to appear on the screen. I will also try to fix other things so the page always looks great. Now, the topic of today, U!, the very nice people who have me in their minds. All what I can say to you is, thanks a lot, your letters really gave me the courage and the braveness to continue. After preyer and reading quran, these guest books signs and replys and those email letters, forwards and greeting cards are every thing for me here. The preyer times from Islam Web are late about 1 hour, however, I found the the correct ones in the mosque where I prey Al3isha and have a very brief religious lecture every day, ( the Somali's don't understand arabic, the lecturer english is very week, it's really funny, and looks like 7ewar el torshan !? lol) I also want to thank Obaida for encouraging me. My project was changed, I am working now with ABB, one of the biggest turbines manufacturers in the world, optimising the performance of wind turbine generator (click here ) by installing a heat exchanger that will get rid from some excess heat. Heeyyy, I CAN understand that !!! I no longer have to switch to EE from ME. Reading about the previous project was like nightmare for me. It looks like everybody has installed a turbo engine with a super charge on their legs and .. let the race begin !!. I really feal like a turtle. When Toya took me to the bank I felt like a 9 years old child who is running trying to catch his mom. In the morning, going to school, I feel like a lazy boy, no, the laziest boy in Finland who doesn't care if he catches the first class or not. Man, They are really running here, I try to walk like them but believe me, It's not useful at all, I really want to check in their pockets and under their trousers to see the turbo engines ! It's not just like that, althought the land is forzen, the cars are running too fast here !! throwing mud and water on the people passing by. Thanks God, my shower turn did not come yet ! When I was commig to school today, I was thinking about buying a bycicle like most of the students do here, but wait a minut, I hardly walk here! so, how could I ride a bike !? Alhamdulillah, it's close to my house, It is just a flat that was rent by a group of muslims here in Vaasa. The Arab that I've met yesterday is their Imam. They prey Al3isha at 9 although it's at 6 here in order to give themselves the chance to meet together and read Quran and Hadith. Most of Muslim here are Somalis that migrated within Somalia War at the begining of the nineties. I have some doubt about delaying the preyer 3 hours but not sure, any way, ifto ya ahlil fatwa ? When I was preying ( shoof el khosho3 !! ) I felt like the police will jump in and arrest us all as Khaliia tabi3a li Bin Ladin !!. I was very careful walking near to it, I don't want the 3rd fall to be the worst one ! Oh thanks God, every thing went OK! Let me tell you what I found before I came to continue this update, I saw a guy with a beard, I felt like he is an Arab. So, I said in low voice and from a far distance "Assalam 3alaikum", he turned his head and answered "Wa3alaikum Issalam !!". I finally found and Arab guy, he was Algerian, I also met his Egyption friend. They are old in age but are still studying here in the polytechnic. They were very useful, they showed me the way to the office of proffessor Smail Minanai whom I was contacting with when I was in Abu Dhabi, And guess what !! Minani himself is Algerian and his Name is Ismael. They told me were to find Arabic food here in Finland, and a place for a Mousque near to my house where I can prey aljoum3a. Cool, isn't it ? Today is Saturday, a holiday in finland, and it is very quiet around. The Internet is free from charge here. No punk internet supervisor to bother you. So, I wish to write what ever I like.. What shall I start writing about ? immm ! OK ! I thought I will be writing about the things happening in Finland only, I can't skip neither what happened in Abu Dhabi Airport nor the 12 hours flight to Vaasa! I can't imagin how a person travelling as far as the north pole and staying there for 4 months, can just take 20 kg luggage with him. This is what the stupid airline company did with me. I took more than 60 kg to the air port and believe me it is all neccessary! the- very generous employee - has given me extra 5 kg and I carried with me a 10 kg hand bag inside the plane. So, I'd got to get rid of 25 kg and that's what I actually did ! The bad thing about that is, the very important books that could help me a lot with my training there, I got rid of them. The cost of the extra luggage is something imaginary, more than the ticket is self, due to the very long trip. So, that's the way it is ! For the trip, It was really scary. I've have never experienced such air humps ( matabbat hawa'iiah) in my life. Believe me, It really feal like that a missile ( sarookh !) has hit the plane !! It was happening all the time just like if the plane is running out from a battle. When I asked the, very boring old, passenger sitting near to me about that, he told me what means in Arabic ( 3aadeee !) I felt rest and got a sleep. ( HAYTHAAM IN AMISTIRDAM !! ) If you planning to pass by Amistirdam airport in the future, I advice you to practice running all the week before. DAMN !, The distance between the gate I entered the airport at and the gate to Helsinky flight is like from home to hamdan street !! I felt cold a little bit so, I put on the heavy clothis I'm carrying with me. But after a lot of walking and walking and after seeing the sign to gate B82 ( I will never forget this sign in my whole life) million times, carrying with me that damn 10 kg hand bag. My clothis become wet and I had to remove them. I found the exit of the maze, sorry the gate to the flight after more than 40 minutes. I forgot to mention that I saw the great AREANA Stadium when The plane was landing in Amistirdam. Sorry Tariq, I couldn't stop to buy you the shirt you asked for, believe me It was short time to the next flight, and if I'd stopped, I'd have lost the race ! Different than the beautiful green fields view that I saw when landing into Amistirdam. Finland was absolutely a white sheet of paper! the snow is every where and it is really, brrrrrrrrrrrrr, cold here. Vaasa is a small town covered by snow and inhabitted by thick clothis people! I would tell more about it in later updates. Mrs. Taija has picked me from the air port and drove me to my room, that I've spent last night cleaning its dirty floor, I felt very Gazzawi when I pronounced her name as it is writtren while �t is simply Taya !! I spent last night searching for the direction of the north and south so I can find the Qibla to pray. (Baba, your compass is Kharbana !!). When I asked someone about that when going to buy water ( I think they drink beer instead of water here !!), he thought I was lost! When I reached my house. the lock was not opening. I was afraid to death that I might spend my first night here in the nude. in this sub-zero weather until a dutch non smiling person gave me a hand.
