How You Can Help

Please will you help us to keep the wood at the top of the hill as a place for all to enjoy and for it not to become a business such as pistol shooting, clay pigeon shooting, motor cross or paint balling. Cholmondeley Estates have agreed to a lower price of £32,000 if the wood is kept for the benefit of the community. We have to try and raise the money from grants and gifts within a very few weeks.

We have registered The Friends of Harmers Wood Trust and will be applying for charitable status. Also an account will be set up with Lloyds TSB in Frodsham and money may be paid in through Helsby Post Office. If you would like to pledge a gift of money then please telephone any of the numbers below and we will inform you as soon as the account is open.
