| The
minister's leader of the emperor Numerian.
Diocletian sought the advice of Romanus, the pagan
governor of Antioch.Then he sent away The whole
Basilides Family with Others noble rank exiled to
Egypt. They went to Armenius, the governor of
Alexandria with instruction to separate and send
them to different places after kindly treating
with consideration and courtesy. Finally, they
scattered them in different parts of the country
where they suffered martyrdom (ref. O'Leary). |
