Icons of Martyrs do not express the pain and the suffering that they have endured. The Purely Coptic icons being free from the terrifying scenes, which are represented in the Byzantine style. However we find two icons represented scenes of suffering which are probably presented to our church as gifts. they are unusual, vey rare in coptic art.

This Icon is represented in two parts "Rejoice, Thou art filled with grace, The Lord is with you. Blessed are you among Woman... Blest is the fruit of your womb".

Also this icon is distinguished by its simplicity which reflects a scense of beauty.
