What Members of Hannover International Christian Church Believe & Want
Caring and compassion for all who attend our meetings.
And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.  Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.
(Galatians 6:9-10)

Helping those in need through acceptance, friendship, and unselfish love.
Bear one another`s burdens and so fulfill the law of Christ.  (Galatians 6:2)  Jesus Christ said, By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.  (John 13:35)

Rejoicing much more in worship and praise to God.
The Apostle Paul wrote just before he was killed for his Christian teaching, Rejoice in the Lord always.  Again I will say, rejoice!  (Philippians 4:4)  Jesus Christ said that the greatest commandment in God`s Law is You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.  (Matthew 22:37)

Instruction in God`s Word for knowing Jesus Christ, the Gospel, and what thinking pleases God.
All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.  (2 Timothy 3:6)  The Apostle Paul wrote, Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus.  Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord.  (Philippians 2:5 & 8a)  Whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy-- meditate on these things.  (Philippians 4:8)

Standing for God`s truth at least by being better Christ-like examples.
Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, having done all, to stand.  Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the Gospel of peace, above all, taking the helmet of Salvation, and the sword of the Holy Spirit, which is the Word of God, praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Holy Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints.  (Ephesians 6:13-18)

Training children in God-pleasing behavior.
Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.  (Proverbs 22:6)  Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.  Honor your father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;) that it may be well with you, and you may live long on the Earth.  And, you fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.  (Ephesians 6:1-4)

Inviting people to home Bible studies and church services.
Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering (for He is faithful that promised), and let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the Day approaching.  (Hebrews 10:23-25)  But you, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.  And of some have compassion, making a difference; and

Acting as the Holy Spirit guides, especially in evangelism and discipleship.
Jesus Christ said, However when He, the Spirit of truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth, for He shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever He shall hear, that shall He speak, and He will show you things to come.  He shall glorify Me, for He shall receive of Mine, and shall show it unto you.  (John 16:13-14)  Trust in the Lord with all your heart; and lean not unto your own understanding.  In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.  (Proverbs 3:5-6)  The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he (or she) who wins souls is wise.  (Proverbs 11:30)  Jesus Christ said, For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will be no means enter the Kingdom of Heaven.  (Matthew 5:20)

Nurturing new Christian for future ministry leadership.
For when for the time you ought to be teachers, you have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God, and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.  For every one that uses milk is unskillful in the word of righteousness, for he (or she) is a babe.  But strong meat belongs to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.  Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection.  (Hebrews 5:12-6a)others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.  (Jude 20-23)
DO
THINK
Philippians 2
1        If there be therefore any consolation in Christ,

if any comfort of love,
                if any
fellowship of the Spirit,

if any bowels and mercies,
2                fulfill you my joy, that you be likeminded,

having the same love,

being of one accord, of one mind.
3        Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory;

but in lowliness of mind
4                 let each esteem others better than themselves.
                    Look
not every man on his own things,
but every man also on the things of
others.
5        Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
Philippians 4
8
Finally, my brothers (and sisters),

whatever things are true,

whatever things are honest,

whatever things are right,

whatever things are pure,

whatever things are lovely,

whatever things are of good report;
                      if there is any
virtue and
                      if there is any
praise,

think on these things."
