| DIRECTIONS TO OUR FATHER'S HOUSE.
Make a Right onto "Believeth Blvd." Keep straight and go through the Green Light, which is Jesus Christ. There, you must turn onto the "Bridge of Faith", which is over troubled water. When you get off the bridge, make a Right turn and Keep Straight. You are on the "King's Highway" - Heaven-bound. Keep going for three miles: One for the Father, One for the Son, and One for the Holy Ghost. Then exit off onto "Grace Blvd." From there, make a Right turn on "Gospel Lane". Keep Straight and then make another Right on "Prayer Road". As you go on your way, Yield Not to the traffic on "Temptation Ave." Also, avoid SIN STREET because it is a DEAD END. Pass up "Envy Drive", and "Hate Avenue". Also, pass "Hypocrisy Street", "Gossiping Lane", and "Backbiting Blvd." However, you have to go down "Long-suffering Lane", "Persecution Blvd", and "Trials and Tribulations Ave." But that's all right, because VICTORY Street is straight ahead! AMEN!!!!! |

| "Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For My yoke is easy and My burden is light."
It is always nice to receive an invitation. Whether it is to a party or to join in with some special event, when we receive an invitation it makes us feel special. Well, in the Bible, in the New Testament, in the book of Matthew, chapter 11 verses 28 to 30 we have an invitation in person from Jesus Christ. It is an invitation to rest. In our busy, busy lives we never seem to have time, especially no time to rest. It seems we must continually rush from one thing to another without taking time to think about anything. Jesus wants our time to have purpose and meaning. How often have we thought to ourselves, Whats the point? or What am I achieving? Whether we are aware of it or not, or even whether we want to believe it or not, we were all created to be in a close loving relationship with our creator Jesus Christ. Without that relationship we will always have a sense of non achievement. Family, work and personal goals will always have the feeling of not being quite what they should be. Thats because Jesus wants to be at the heart of everything we do. Indeed, He needs to be at the heart of everything we do, in order for our souls to be satisfied. Are you tired, do feel weighed down by life? I invite you to give Jesus a chance to make a difference in your life. To give Jesus a chance to give you rest. Not rest in the meaning of laying down relaxing, but with the meaning of bringing purpose to your life. What have you got to loose? Nothing. What have you got to gain? Everything of God's love. |
