Smokey Hollow Falls
Out of all the waterfalls along the Niagara Escarpment this is one of the easyest to get to from your car. It takes you about 20 footsteps to get from your car to the viewing platform over looking the falls.  This is a Curtian Falls along the Grindstone Creek this is why it is also know as Grindstone Falls.  It's Called smokey Hollow because there were a large number of mill sites surrounding the falls.  Getting to the base of the falls during lower periods is not too hard.  Follow the Bruce Trail down stream  you will decend a few stairs the Trail will go off to the left well here you can work your way down to the creek and up to the falls.



Driving Directions
From downtown Hamilton take King St west to hwy 403 jump on the 403 to hwy 6 take hwy 6 to the top of the escarpment and turn right on hwy 5 follow hwy 5 to mill st in Waterdown turn right here about 1 km down you'll pass under a railway bridge just after that the parking lot for Smokey Hollow falls is on your right.
