This year's show is set to start at 5:00 PM and end between 12:00 and 1:00 AM. That's one long concert, I know, but this year we have really raised the stakes. We are going to have nine great bands perform! HalPal 2000 is really going be a great show.
These bands include: Broken Free, Dum(b), Frail, Johnny's New Discovery, Okword, O.D.D. (formerly Slug), The Mad Cows, The Student Painters, and Three Days of Darkness.
The playing order of the performers has not yet been decided officially. The order will only be decided on the day of the show, so please ignore any rumors you might hear concerning this issue before this time. Such information is not factual or reliable.
This year's admission is $4.00.
Keeping the tradition alive, we will be giving out a ton of free complimentary candy and once again staging door prize raffles.
New this year is the costume contest. That's right, dress up in a nifty halloween costume and you will eligible to win exclusive prizes in the raffles that will be held between each of the bands. The prizes will get better and better as the night goes on, so get there early and stay late to maximize your winnings. Just remember: to get in on the action you must come in a costume. Don't worry: the bands are going to dress up this year, too!
Another new addition is the Artist Marketplace. This will be a section of the venue that will be used by the performers to sell, trade, and give away their band's merchandise or express their opinions on certain issues they hold in regard. Almost half of the performers in this year's event have their own albums and many have stickers, patches, and t-shirts that will be available.
In relation to the Artist Marketplace, the first ever official Hallowpalooza T-shirts will be available. For an idea of how they look, go to the 2000 Market page. Hallowpalooza compilations will be available featuring tracks by 6 of the 9 performers as well.
Also, food and drinks will be available throughout the day's events, so don't worry about missing dinner by going to the show early. Now you can have your dinner at the show!
Drinks, however, does not mean alcohol. This is an All-Ages event and alcohol will not be served or allowed on the premises.
We support Punxsutawney's Nate's Place organization and its cause and will donate a portion of the proceeds to this charity.
