There are many versions of Linux out, such as SuSe and Red Hat. I personally suggest Red Hat Linux if you are looking to buy, but it's up to you. Linux is a very good OS overall, and it's more secure than Windows. It has a good general user interface (GUI), and it supports those who are more advanced very well.
