Hi and welcome to my homepage. This page is about me (since I'm likely the reason you came here).

Howdy, I'm Jen :)

I'm 29 years old, and loving every minute of it. It's funny to see the last update of this page, where I was 27 and wanted to be young again. No longer! Embrace life's wisdom!

Along the side are pictures of me. In every one but 2 I am pregnant. That's because I'm post-partum. I am ALWAYS pregnant. Welcome to my life :)

First, and foremost, I'm a mom. I love being a mom. I wouldn't change a thing except maybe the ridiculous hours and lack of pay/respect. I hear the respect comes when my children have children. I'm waiting for that day.

My hobbies include (but are not limited to) photography, cross stitch, needlepoint, hardanger, brazilian embroidery, asian embroideries, crewel, quilting, sewing, gaming, RPGs, website building, reading, writing, advocacy, helping others, and much more. If I had time for these hobbies I wouldn't be a mother.

Not into losing weight anymore. Will when I'm ready to. At this point, I'm working on more important things. Like enrolling in midwifery classes and helping mothers to understand the importance of breastfeeding. Like teaching people about circumcision and why they shouldn't do it. Like being politically active and helping to shape my country and stop the horrible places it's going.

I'm a libertarian, a buddhist, a family rights advocate. I support breastfeeding and intactivism and gay rights. I'm opposed to several things, but on most issues I just don't care. Want to smoke pot? Go for it. I don't really care. Need an abortion? That's your right and I protect it...even though I'm pro-life. I'm more pro humanity than anything else.

I hate the mainstream, the status quo. I'm a homebirthing, cloth diapering, breastfeeding, cosleeping, babywearing, novacc, nocirc, gentle disciplining, un/homeschooling, baby loving mama. I love my kids. More than anything. I will do what's best for them because I'm fully capable of it. That's why I HAD kids. Because I can take care of them.

I want to be a midwife more than anything, direct entry. I'm called to it. The spirituality of birth should not be denied the mother. Birth is about empowerment, about faith, about love. That should never be taken away from a woman.

Thanks for visiting! I hope you enjoy our site :)
