Well! My friend had her baby (3 weeks late!). A little 9 lb girl, home water birth. Good for her. She says the water really cut the pain so I'm considering having her bring that pool right over here!
Saw the midwife. She says she'll deliver at 36 weeks, so technically I only have to make it 4 weeks and 4 days until I can deliver, if I decide to go early (I always go early). This is a huge relief to me. I do NOT want to deliver in a hospital for a million reasons.
I am definitely going to have to find someone to host my journal. My friend Anne has a livejournal code but she's not sharing. She wants me to beg...like THAT will happen! Anyone have a livejournal code they want to share? ;)
As for me, I'm doin alright. Going to visit my friend's baby today and give her the presents that Emma and I picked out for her. I hope she can wear them. It'll be interesting getting my baby fix before I deliver my baby. Only a couple months to go and I'll never be pregnant again!

ARGH! My Sims wasn't working. It was crashing to desktop during startup, so I figured I'd reinstall it. Well...I TRIED to reinstall it. It said I had to uninstall Sims Superstar. So I did. It UNINSTALLED THE ENTIRE THING! I don't have all my CDs, much less the codes, so now I can't play at all! What a world...what a world!

*sobs relentlessly*

This is SO unfair!

Well I will say it's interesting having a journal again. I missed having one.

I joined a group for parents in my area. It's been interesting meeting new people, even in an e-capacity. Just when I think I'm too weird to be social, I realize there's people out there almost as weird as me (did you expect me to say 'just as'?)

Hubby has been out of work for over a week now and prospects, while more than they might be for most, are fairly slim. Hubby has never been laid off before and he's been taking it pretty hard. I've been keeping him busy around the house so he has something to do, and I'm watching him get frazzled for the same reasons I do all the time. I feel bad for him, but it's so hard not to point and say 'SEE? Now you know how I feel!'

Hopefully he'll get a job soon. He has a couple things up his sleeve, so we'll see where that leads us. If only we didn't need the money...

Emma was a real charmer this morning, giving kissies to us AND the furniture. She has really slobbery kisses, you definitely can't miss the fact that you were marked by the boo! She's so cute.

BUT, she's down for a nap now, so I might take one too.

TTFN!

Well, my last journal was down for quite a while. I figured it was time to make a new one. I'll probably change the graphics at some point but for now I kind of like these.

Do I knit? No. But I do cross stitch, needlepoint, hardanger, brazilian embroidery, pulled thread embroidery, temari, and other specialized stitches. I also sew and quilt, but that's besides the point.

It's been a while since I've blogged. I miss it. I miss having a connection, albeit a virtual one, with the world. I've got a lot going on in my life. I'm not boring! People read my journal before! I also enjoyed having a personal space to vent. Don't we all?

So here it is. My corner of the web. Don't like it? Don't come here :D
