"Daddy....what's wrong?"

Duo looked at his daughter across the table. He realized that he'd been very quiet since he woke up that morning. Usually, he'd play with Trinity and help her with her songs. But he was still too intrigued by his dream. He'd even ordered room service instead of going to the fancy dining room they'd eaten in yesterday.

"Nothing Trinity. I'm fine. Drink all your milk."

Trinity's eyes saddened with unshed tears. Her father almost never calls her by her full name unless she did something wrong. "I'm sorry Daddy....I didn't mean to hurt you or Papa when I was born!"

Duo looked up to meet his daughter's sad eyes. "Oh no" He thought. "She heard us last night!"
Duo got up and walked over to his daughter, picking her up and settling on the bed. "Trinity" He said looking into her worried little eyes. "I love you. Papa loves you. You are our pride and joy. Never, do you hear me...never forget that." The girl nodded. She could tell that her father needed some comfort, but she didn't know how to comfort him.

"That's not all. I'm pregnant Trin. You know that. You're gonna have a baby brother or sister soon, and I'm gonna go through a hard time. Both Papa and I will need you to be strong for us during that time. It's gonna be a lot for you to see me like you will." He gently slid some hair behind her ear. "But I want you to always remember that we love you. And that no matter what happens, we'll always be a team."

Duo could no longer take the sad look in his daughter's eyes. He knew that Heero and him would go through about as hard a time as they went through for her. He had talked to Heero about this. Trinity should probably go stay with someone else for the last two months of his pregnancy. Both of them would be too busy and exhausted to look after her. It made him feel helpless and horrible, but it was the only way to keep his daughter out of that traumatizing period.

Trinity couldn't take it anymore. She had heard about her birth, and even though Duo and Heero told her that it wasn't her fault, she couldn't help but feel responsible. She hugged her father tightly and cried. Duo could only look onto his weeping daughter. He gently stroked her soft brown hair. "I love you daddy. And I love papa too."

Duo gently tilted up his daughters tear stained face. He placed small kissed on her soft pink cheeks. "Come on....or the food 'll get cold." She merely nodded again, but her little body was in too much distress to eat.

"HEEEE~RO!!" Oh God, he did *not* need that right now. But he couldn't escape her. She had already seen him, and he was too tired to ignore her mating call.

He sighed as she bounced to him, her blond hair flying around and smacking her flat in the face. He rolled his eyes as she tried to straighten her look before approaching him. "What are your plans today? I mean the meeting is over, and my brother won't be calling you anytime soon. Would you like to go to the private spa?"

He looked at her, almost disbelieving. Does this woman have *any* dignity?

"No"

Relena frowned. "But you are free for the rest of the day. I don't know why you c~"

"I said, NO! Don't make me repeat myself. I have better things to do." He shrugged her off his arm and walked away.

Relena looked onto his retreating figure. "Hmmm, he's shy. I like that in a man. But that just means that I need to be more straightforward." And she followed him.

Relena watched as she saw Heero make his order. "I never knew he'd like those foods!" She thought, as she saw Heero ordering some barbeque wings, and chicken tenders.
Heero paid the man, and took his food. "Hee~eero!!" He winced. Unfortunately, Relena took it as a shudder of lovie-dovie goosebumbps. "Where are you going with all that food? Can I join you? I absolutely love picnics....they are soo~oo romantic!"

That did it. This woman would need some vocal aid to get her to stop following him. "Relena you cannot come with me. I'm having dinner with my *husband* and daughter....ALONE!!"

Relena stopped dead in her tracks. Heero kept walking, sighing to himself. Finally! Her eyes were wide as she watched him walk towards the elevators. "I never would have thought. No this can't be." She smiled. "He's trying to get me jealous! YAY!!! That means he likes me!!" She hugged herself tightly. "But he should know that jealousy is not necessary to get my attention. I already love him. Don't worry Heero, I got the hint. You're trying to confess your love in your own way.  I can wait. I can be patient." She blew a kiss to the figure stepping into the elevator.
