"Hey, you know it's like I always say, 'People forget the most important things when they're excited.'"
"I'm not excited" Duo turned around from where he was packing his suitcase, and looked at the back of his husband who was folding his suit. "Why not Heero? I'm excited! I like the water a lot. And besides, we have first class tickets. It'll be a wonderful experience for Trinity, and maybe..." He trailed of dropping the shirt he was folding. He walked towards the back of the Japanese man, and slipped his hands around his waist from behind. "We might find some time alone together." He whispered.
Heero turned around, not breaking the embrace, and put his arms around the American. Duo simply smiled, and gave him a quick peck on the mouth. The usually unemotional eyes of the stoic man shimmered. He brought his hand up and started caressing Duo's face, tilting his head to bring the other's smiling lips to his.
"Dou you're so beautiful." He whispered against his lips.
"Daddy, what bathing suit should I bring?"
Stunned, both men flinched away from each other, Duo almost tripping over his own feet. "Trinity, you almost gave me a heart attack!! When did you get home?"
The girl with long chestnut colored hair, pulled back into a ponytail, shot her father a confused look. Heero had resumed his packing with the bathroom supplies. "Belldandy said that she had to go pack her own stuff. I got two bathing suits, Daddy. Come on I'll show you."
Trinity's eyes shone with delight as she dragged her father towards her room. "Trinity!! You mean you haven't started packing at all yet." Duo said as he walked into the child's room.
"But Daddy! I wanna show you my new bathing suit!"
"You'll show me later, Trin. Right now we have to get you packing." He opened her suitcase and started loading the clothes. "Can Mr. Bucky come too?" She said, Prussian eyes shining.
"Huh?" Duo looked over to see what his daughter was talking about. His eyes grew wide as he saw her holding a foot and a half long turtle. "Where did you get this?!" He asked as he grabbed the animal from his daughter. "I found it. Papa said it was OK for me to keep it, as long as you didn't see it...Oops!" The girl clasped her hands over her mouth.
"HEERO!!"
"I guess I said too much" she thought as she saw her father leave with her new pet.
