The young farmer leaned forward onto the side of the railings cautiously trying not to break any of the stems. He looked down and saw the most beautiful thing he'd ever seen. On the very bottom of the railings grew a beautiful flower. It's texture was smooth and clean. It's brilliant violet color shone with the evening sun. As Duo leaned over to get a closer look at the beautiful plant, Heero entered the royal room glancing to the backside of the farmer who had annoyed him so.
Duo who had actually been able to come close enough to smell the enchanting scent of the flower was not aware of the other man's presence.
"Who gave you permission to enter my chamber?" Came the angered voice. As in all cases the young farmer yelped and jumped only pushing himself over the railing. "Wha~!!!"
Heero looked on as the idiot struggled to hold on to the plants breaking the stems one by one. "DON'T JUST STAND THERE!!!" Duo screamed.
"I'm gonna FALL!!"
Heero sighed and walked towards the struggling man. He leaned forward and grasped Duo's braid. "ITAI!!! Not that way!!"
In an effort to keep the prince from hurting him any further, Duo flung his arms around Heero's neck. Unprepared for the sudden action, the young prince lost his balance. As he felt himself tipping over, he flung an arm around Duo and used the other hand to grasp the railing. After regaining his balance he slowly walked back pulling the hanging man with him. Once on the balcony both the prince and the farmer collapsed onto the hard verandah floor.
"Let go of me scum!! You're choking me!" The prince called trying to detach the other man from him. Instantaneously, Duo let go causing the prince to fall back.
"You idiot!! How dare you enter my chamber only to almost kill me. You scums are all the same! Worthless!"
The farmer narrowed his eyes. Prince or no prince if Heero was going to learn to respect and understand the lower classes he'd have to appreciate their value. "How dare you talk about my people that way! You may be *the* crown prince, but even with all your fortune and wealth I've seen far greater men than you."
Heero was stunned to see the fire in the violet depths. The extreme passion made them more surreal and beautiful. Duo got up and looked down at the stunned prince. "I fear the day you become king, prince Heero. You don't respect anyone but yourself. I came to befriend you, and you treat me like trash. Well, I've got news for you. In the wild or even in battle, you'd be no greater man than I. If anyone is the fool, it's you for your own selfish stubbornness." With that the young farmer left not allowing the prince to say anything more.
