| DODGER awoke at 5:45, in his bivie. It was very light already, being one of the longest days of the year. Waking CHOPPER and GHOSTSHELL, they got ready for a dawn raid. Already behind schedule they left camp at 6:10. The game was now back on. Patrolling carefully over to CHARLIE's camp, they arrived at 7:15. No contact so far. Dodger signalled CHOPPER to move in and capture the flag. Covering from their vantage points, GHOSTSHELL and DODGER were on edge. All was still and CHOPPER made it into the ditch and pulled the TAG from the flag. "Please take" was written on it. Having no contact, with CHARLIE, the raiders withdrew happy with their expedition. Indeed they had scored 10 points. Making it back over to camp, they rested up and cooked some breakfast (most important meal). Guarding their own flag, they awaited reinforcements. |

| SPECTRE awoke with the feeling of crawling in his sleeping bag. Realising he was covered in ants, he let out a cry; "Help!" Responding, TMA grabbed their guns and covered their firearcs. "Help; I'm covered in ants!" explained SPECTRE as he bailled out of his sleeping bag. Indeed, the ants had made a highway overnight, crossing Spectre and up the tree next to him. He litterally had hundreds on him! |
| Recovering from the Antattack, Spectre moved off to a pre arranged Sentry position. From there, he sat and watched the low ground and higher flank. PHANTOM set off to check on the flag, expecting the worst. Arriving, he saw the flag stripped and quickly withdrew The rest of CHARLIE got up and sorted their kit. 2 Sentried while 2 ate, then they swapped. Feeling refreshed, they hid their webbing and bergens, camming them up with foliage. Both teams were given a TASK; REDEPLOY. This allowed them to move either, their FLAG or Defensive/Offensive TAG ZONE. 1 only. CHARLIE (hereby known as TMA) sent out PHANTOM to bring the flag back to SCAREY CORNER. Running off, he approached yesterdays camp and grabbed the FLAG. moving back the same way he came, TMA set the flag up in the very corner of the land, behind a a bushy tree. A MARSHAL approached and placed a TAG worth 10 points, on it. It could now, be captured again. ALPHA spent a fair while repositioning a TAG ZONE only to find it was the only 1 they could not move. With the remaining time, they set about moving their FLAG to a new position. |
| The remaining ALPHA players returned to the camp, as reinforcements. Before they quickly decided to shift camp to the TOP FENCELINE 200m uphill. Reaching the fenceline, they planted their (now reactivated FLAG, behind a bush and sorted themselves out. Sentries were set in the long grass and an ambush party sent to the edge of the fernfields. Indeed the only route of attack would be this way. The other approaches offered no cover while advancing up a steep hill. Once CHOPPER and DODGER arrived with their kit, the entire team sat on sentry. |
