Osiris was once one of the most benevolent and trusted night elves. He was a respected druid, very in touch with the spirit of nature and his own peaceful soul. It was when the burning legion began their catastrophic war with his brethren that this night elf submerged himself in the shadows. He abandoned his peaceful druidic nature for the skills to keep himself alive. Forgetting all he had known about peace, he became skilled with a blade and learned to use his druids connection with nature to hide himself in the darkness of the land, which enhanced his might as a demon hunter. He never became a warrior nor did he ever associate himself with his night elf kin. Instead he took the oath of a demon hunter and swore to wield the sword of darkness against it. He carried his own campaign against the hated legion, assassinating great rulers and generals as he saw fit. Until, the races of Azeroth expelled the dark army from their world. Grief took hold of Osiris, as he had lost his immortality and forfeited his social status in the night elf community. He continued to seek purpose by destroying, by any means necessary, the injustices of his cursed world. He continued his maligned life until he stumbled upon the davairim, a band of shadowy night elves he came to join. Though they did not share Osiris bitterness, he knew these shadow walkers would help him in right the wrongs of Azeroth in their own, dark way.
