Reality Writer Chris Wolvie recaps this series

A NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR

What follows are televised-hand-by-televised-hand accounts.  Obviously, since it's only a two-hour show, most hands are not televised so you're going to see a lot of jumping of the dealer button.  For all but the WPT Championship, it will also be edited to save disk space.

WORLD POKER TOUR 2

Welcome to the main page for the recaps of the World Poker Tour's second season and the celebrity "Hollywood Home Games".  Set up by casinos worldwide and by the Travel Channel, the World Poker Tour is a series of high-stakes Texas Hold 'Em tournaments, offering some of the biggest players and biggest payouts in poker history.  Click a tournament link below and get a look at who wins each tournament, how much is won and how the winner did it!

If you're new to poker or just to Texas Hold 'Em and need a guide to help you through these (and other poker) recaps, check out my own Poker Primer by clicking this link.

HOLLYWOOD HOME GAME
Taking a cue from Celebrity Poker Showdown, the WPT brings together Hollywood's finest poker players this side of Vince Van Patten and has them play for charities.  The difference between CPS and WPT is that, whereas Phil Gordon was unable to help the CPS players, the WPT players can actually use a Millionaire-like "lifeline" to call a poker expert and get advice on what to do.  The winner of each battle gets $10,000 for their charity...AND a $25,000 buy-in to the WPT Championship!

 Game 1 (aired 1/25/04)
Jack Black, Drew Carey, Fred Savage, Steve Harris, Mimi Rogers, Aisha Tyler
