So an important girl in your life wants to join Girl Scouts? While you probably have many questions, click here are some key facts.The growth of Girl Scouting has always depended upon active adult support. Parents, neighbors, relatives, friends, former Girl Scouts, and any other adults who wish to help today's girls grow into competent resourceful women, are encouraged to become Girl Scout volunteers. Adults may choose to work directly with the girls or support adult volunteers through various positions.

You don't need an encyclopedia of skills or a college degree. Help is available in many ways and from many people. All you really need is a liking for kids and a willingness to learn. A large amount of patience and a healthy sense of humor helps, too.
