Scouting

So an important girl in your life wants to join Girl Scouts? While you probably have many questions, click here are some key facts.

The growth of Girl Scouting has always depended upon active adult support. Parents, neighbors, relatives, friends, former Girl Scouts, and any other adults who wish to help today's girls grow into competent resourceful women, are encouraged to become Girl Scout volunteers. Adults may choose to work directly with the girls or support adult volunteers through various positions.

Are you interested in being a Girl Scout Leader?
It easier than you think!
It's NOT:
Planning a party every week
Riding herd on 25 screaming girls
Dreaming up a new craft for every meeting

It Is:
FUN
Being a friend
Sharing experiences
Learning along with the girls

You don't need an encyclopedia of skills or a college degree. Help is available in many ways and from many people. All you really need is a liking for kids and a willingness to learn. A large amount of patience and a healthy sense of humor helps, too.

The girls need leaders....IF NOT YOU, WHO?
