Probably one of the most successful members of the Grosse Pointe cast, Bonnie Somerville's peak must have been her short stint on Friends. Since then she starred in a nice but not-that-funny (not-her-fault) NBC show called "In-Laws" and pops up now and then on "The O.C." (a really trashy law drama, from what I've seen). New! Watch Bonnie Somerville in a Japanese beer commercial! This ad for Sabijiko Beer was shot as a storyline for an episode of Grosse Pointe called "Star Wars" and shown at the end of the episode. The fictional soap is huge in Japan, so the Sabijiko Beer company hire Courtney to star in their commercial. She has to sing a song with the lyrics ookii oppai, meaning big breasts. The reason? "Ms. Big Breasts, that is what we call Courtney in Japan" says the Sabijiko representative to Courtney's agent. When Courtney enquires, her agent tells her that ookii oppai means "Ms. Popularity".
