| Welcome to My Home Page! My name is Sheryl and this is my personal homepage. I just wanted to share a little about myself and some poems that I believe God gave me. These poems were written about friends and family that are very special in my life. Some still with me and some gone on to be with the Lord. And then there are poems that were written when God was just spending time with me and speaking to my heart. But first, a little about myself. I am married to a retired Firefighter. We have three grown sons and six grandchildren. I have, like most everyone else, enjoyed life and tried to be a good wife, mother, friend, and Christian. But many things have happened that have been a real test to my faith. God has brought me through it all, but with many lessons learned. Since I started this homepage, my firstborn grandson was killed on a fourwheeler. I have added a page for him, (Shanes page). A few months later, my dad died from a brain tumor. The poem,"Gentle Giant", was written about him. I still have days when I get down and can't understand why. Then God takes me in His arms and comforts me and reminds me that He is in control and He has a reason for all things. I love the Lord and trust Him and I know that he knows what is best for me. Life has to go on and though we miss friends and love ones, there is happiness if we look for it. I hope that you will take time to look at my pages and maybe find something that will bless you or make you laugh or just touch you in some way.
