Accreditations New Jersey City University is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools, the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education, and the National Association of State Directors of Teacher Education and Certification.  New Jersey City University is also an accredited institutional member of the National Association of Schools of Art and Design and the National Association of Schools of Music.  Education programs are approved by the New Jersey State Department of Education.
