It is hereby declared by gathering of the majority of all those calling themselves Grendel and fully 90% of all Jarls in good standing at the time of this Althing, during the first Coronation of King Kain of the Kingdom of the Rising Winds, the following procedure will be followed by those chapters and their members that are Grendel. 1. Pertaining to the voting procedures in Grendel Althing A bondi must petition for Jarl status fully one month (or four weeks) prior to the scheduled gathering. This information is to be made public in the most practical manner possible, preferrably by declaration at a current Althing for later consideration or via the Grendel Company Mailing List. All Jarls are to immediately consider the petitioning Bondi's request. Should a Jarl know that they will be unable to attend the upcoming Althing at said event, they are to notify all other Jarls of their Vote to be cast for them at the Althing. Failure to notify other Jarls of voting intentinon will result in a YES vote being cast for petitioning Bondi on behalf of the absent Jarl. Should a Jarl be un-aware of the Bondi's petition for Jarl status, due to any reason and as a result, not cast a vote through other Jarls, event though no fault of his/her own, a YES vote will still be cast on their behalf. 2. Pertaining to the wearing of Grendel Colors by non-Bondi or higher status Grendel (i.e. Thralls) Any Grendel Thrall who has fought in at least ONE Holmgang, attempting to achieve the status of Bondi, shall have earned the right to wear the company colors of Gold (winnie the poo yellow) and Black. Prior to a Thrall fighting in a Holmgang, a Thrall is NOT allowed to wear company colors. The colors shall be worn on a humble belt favor consisting of only two colors, Yellow/Gold & Black. There shall be no design or mark of any sort on said belt favor. the favor is to be worn on a belt and no other manner of wear is admissable. |
